Indeed the device was claimed, and the password reset. Worse is that the claimed device was the deleted later on from my opensensor account, in attempts to debug the problem.
I tried to claim it again, but that didn't work (device not found). This means its not in the "my device" list - so I cannot reset the password now and follow the procedure you described in your post.
Tried to create it again as a new device with the egg's serial number, but the client ID you get is some number assigned by opensensors.io , you dont have control over it - while the client name should be the egg serial number if I understand it correctly..
Could you make the device serial number available again on opensensors.io and/or provide some default pwd that I can configure in the egg so it can connect + be claimed, pwd can then be changed later?
