AQEv2 crash loop: unable to connect to MQTT server ... Authentication failed

Hi Vicatcu,

correct - I have not followed steps 6 to 10 now (after my device was deleted from my account I could not even reset it if I wanted too). But the reset button might have been hit before - which cause the authentication problem to start

I powered up the egg just now and still the same ... authentication failed and it reboots
Info: Resolved "mqtt.opensensors.io" to IP address 54.77.165.80
Info: Connecting to MQTT Broker with Client ID "egg0080270b71980153" using Authentication...Failed.
Error: Unable to connect to MQTT server

Since I never changed the config of the egg itself since I received it (apart from setting ssid), I suppose the egg is still trying to connect using the original password it was shipped with. But, as said before, it is possible the password was reset in my opensensor account, the new password that was generated not written down/saved so that info is lost, Since the device was deleted from my account its not possible to reset it again anyway. I will not try to claim it again for now following your advice.

if you could restore the default password on the opensensors system, the stock password that the units ship with, I guess it would connect again.
Otherwise I propose you email me a password that I should set in the egg.

thanks for your help!
