Hi Vic, excuse me for the late reply but I was abroad (offline and eggless).
Just punched in the new pwd, and it WORKS - thanks a lot 
After this I claimed the device again on opensensors, and yes its there and I see the messages flowing in real time.
This brings me to the next or lets say back to the original problem: getting access to the data that was collected&uploaded by the egg..
I understood from reading other posts there is no graphic display available from opensensors at this time (unlike the old AQEv1 system that was using Xively). Correct me if I am wrong - the easiest way to get graphs is by downloading your eggs' historical data in csv/xls file and graph it offine.
Using Chrome I try to download the date via https://airqualityegg.wickeddevice.com/download
Now, this does not seem to work for me, or my egg. Tried on 3 different pc's, Chrome browser, gets stuck "loading". Same problem using firefox, and/or when just filling in the duration field and nothing else. After twenty minutes its still "loading". This is the same problem I experienced in the beginning (which lead me to try and debug things resetting the password causing the whole additional authentication problem)
Below some screenshots to make sure the date/time format and other parameters are correct, I used the date/time to values from the opensensor logfile to be sure there is is no offset error and there is data for the period (just took a two minute interval)
